uturn.bike is a free service provided "as is" and "as available",
with no guarantee whatsoever - no warranties of any kind, express
or implied, including accuracy, availability, reliability or fitness
for a particular purpose.
Use at your own risk. Routes, distances, elevation and nearby
places are estimates built from community data (OpenStreetMap) and
free routing services. Always verify conditions yourself and ride
responsibly.
SOS is a convenience, not an emergency service. In a real
emergency, call your local emergency number.
The service may change, break or shut down at any time, without
notice.

Privacy Policy
We do not collect any personal information about you. No
accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no ads.
Your GPX files never leave your device. They are read and
drawn entirely in your browser - never uploaded, never stored.
Meet links keep locations out of servers. Shared points travel
in the link fragment (#...), which browsers never send
to any server.
Third-party services the site talks to
Like any web map, a few features fetch data from third parties. Those
servers see your IP address and the request itself, nothing more:
Map tiles - OpenStreetMap, Esri World Imagery, OpenTopoMap
(the area you're viewing).
Extras / SOS lookups (opt-in) - nearby coordinates are sent to
the Overpass API to find coffee, water and fuel.
Meet routing (only when you use it) - the two shared points
are sent to BRouter (backup: FOSSGIS OSRM) to compute the route.
Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard, short-lived server
access logs, as virtually every website host does. We don't add
anything on top, and we never sell or share any data - there is
nothing to sell.
